Today, the Department for Tourism development of Tashkent city is carrying out practical work on the establishment of innovative tourist road indicators in the central streets of Tashkent city and at the locations where tourist destinations are located aiming at creating even more convenience for tourists visiting our capital. According to the plan, the Department, in cooperation with “KAFOLAT SUG’URTA KOMPANIYASI” JSC, plans to install overall 120 innovative Tourist road indicators containing special QR-codes in 30 selected locations of our city for the first period of 2021. 

So far, the installation of such road signs has been completed in 3 places located in the central streets of the capital (near the “Toshkent Avtovokzali”, “NEXT” shopping and entertainment complex and the crossroad of Stadium “Milliy”). Also, according to the established plan, active work is carried out on the installation of these innovative road indicators in other central streets of our city.

As mentioned earlier, these innovative road signs are equipped with a special QR-code, which creates additional convenience for tourists visiting the city of Tashkent. Visitors of our city can scan these QR-codes through their smartphones and connect directly to the “Google maps” program, as well as quickly and easily reach their addresses in the direction indicated by this program.
