Within the framework of charity bike marathon “Muynoqqa madad” organizing throughout the country, today an environmental charity bike marathon was held in the central streets of the capital on the initiative of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the National Olympic Committee, the Cycling Federation and Municipality of Tashkent city together with the Ecological Party of the Republic of Uzbekistan,.

This sports event was attended by professional athletes, amateurs and all the volunteers who came from different parts of Tashkent. The marathon participants covered a total distance of 30 km.

The purpose of the event was to solve environmental problems and improve the living conditions of the population living in the Aral Sea region.

It is worth noting that Head Department of Tourism and Sports of Tashkent city organized a lunch for the participants of the marathon, in particular, at the end of the day, it is planned to hold a cultural concert program in the central ecopark named after Z. M.Bobur.
