Public transport

City transport is widespread in all cities of Uzbekistan. In Uzbekistan, there are all types of city transport, such as: taxi, bus, trolleybus, tram, metro.

City buses

If you plan move in the city by buses in Tashkent, we recommend you to install a mobile application to track buses of Tashkent via GPS (MyBus Tashkent, 3TM).

You can buy tickets from the bus conductor or be paid to the driver while leaving from the bus.

The bus service operates in major cities from about 06:00 to 23:00. You can contact the local tourist office for more information on how to travel in a particular region.

In capital you can take a Tashkent city tour — a fascinating tour on the Double-Decker buses where you can listen a lot of information about city landmarks, and enjoy the beautiful views of the city.

Taxi

Taxi is one of the most convenient and fastest types of vehicles in Uzbekistan. Only in Tashkent, there are about 30 officially registered taxi services, running  both within cities and between cities. The average price per kilometer, depending on the locality, is 2-3 thousand sums.

The tourist information center of the Tashkent International airport  named after I. Karimov provides transfer and transport taxi services to/from the airport. Tourist information center is located in the arrival hall of the Tashkent airport.
