Russian Academic Drama Theater in Uzbekistan The theater was created in 1934. In 1990, Vladimir Shapiro was elected by the theater team as an artistic director and set before the theater creative team and before himself the task of developing the best traditions laid down by his predecessors. Most of the pieces are designed for a mass audience, they are marked by the professionalism of the actors with memorable decorations, costumes and musical accompaniment. The theater was opened in 1934, and in 1967 received the status of an academic theater. February 7, 2001 there was a great opening of the new building of the Russian Academic Drama Theater.
