Profile
On the 8th of August, 2016, the Anhor Lokomotiv Park, a unique cultural and recreational space, opened in Tashkent. Spanning eight hectares, this park runs along the picturesque Anhor canal in the Shaykhontohur district.
One of the park’s standout features is its karting track, the largest of the CIS countries, covering over 12 thousand square meters with a 540-meter race track, where even competitions featuring German-made racing cars are planned.
The park offers a variety of attractions, including a climbing wall, a rope town, and a large playground. Unique rides such as the “Mill,” “Shark Fight,” “Star Fly,” “Retro Carriages,” “Pirate Ship,” “Sea Rocket,” and “Mirror Labyrinth” ensure an unforgettable and fun-filled experience for visitors.
Anhor Lokomotiv also features a summer cinema for outdoor concerts and events, and a spacious restaurant with 320 seats offering a range of delicious national dishes and European cuisine.
Adding to the park’s charm are architectural models of seven historical landmarks from across Uzbekistan, including the Tashkent Television Tower, Khiva’s Kalta Minor Minaret, Bukhara’s Kalyan Minaret, Samarkand’s Sherdor Madrassah, the Babur Memorial Complex in Andijan, Tashkent’s Chimes, and the Museum of the Temurids. These models imbue the park with a distinctive national flavour, making it a memorable destination for all visitors.
