Today's opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development Aziz Abduhakimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Uzbekistan Daniel Rosenblum, as well as representatives of other official agencies.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Abduhakimov and Mr. Rosenblum noted in their speeches that this hotel complex, starting its activity under the prestigious world brand, is a bright example of the work carried out in Tashkent city on the development of tourism sphere, as well as the development of economic ties between Uzbekistan and the United States.
It should be noted that the hotel "Courtyard by Marriott Tashkent" consists of 131 rooms for 200 people, including 2 restaurants and a conference hall for 250 people for official conferences and other high-level events.
In total, about 200 billion soums were spent on the construction of the hotel complex, and it is planned to create 120 new jobs as a result of commissioning.
