About the Museum
Established by resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan (No. 284) on 14 August 1996, the Museum of Olympic Glory in Tashkent plays a crucial role in promoting the values of Olympism and the principles of "fair play".
It informs the public about the outstanding achievements of Uzbek athletes and the history of the Olympic movement in Uzbekistan.
The museum regularly organizes exhibitions and thematic expositions showcasing the victories of local athletes at the Olympic Games and other major international competitions.
With a main collection of over 2,000 exhibits, more than 1,000 items are on permanent display.
Exhibits
The Museum of Olympic Glory features a wide range of rare medals, cups, torches, stamps, paintings, sports equipment, and clothing. These exhibits highlight the rich history and success of Uzbek athletes on the international stage, providing a comprehensive overview of the nation's sports heritage.
