Alley of Writers

The Alley of Writers in Tashkent, established in the Alisher Navoi National Park, is a serene space that celebrates the rich literary heritage of Uzbekistan. This cultural landmark was officially opened on May 20, following a presidential decree in early 2017.

Spanning over 8 hectares, the alley features a cohesive architectural ensemble dedicated to more than 20 prominent Uzbek literary figures. The park itself is one of the most relaxing places to visit in Tashkent.

At the heart of the Alley stands a statue of Alisher Navoi, revered as the father of Uzbek literature. Surrounding him are bronze monuments of renowned poets and writers, including Babur, Ogakhi, Berdakh, Mukimi, Furkat, Behbudi, Avloni, Chulpan, Kadyri, Tolepbergen Kayipbergenov, Ibrahim Yusupov, and Alexander Fainberg.

These statues form a unique architectural and artistic composition that invites visitors to explore the literary history of the nation.
